Atlas Stout was born in the mid 1980s in the Northeastern United States. Despite playing sports as a youth just about year round, he was never able to evade being a chubby kid. That was until around the age of 14/15, when his physical strength began to greatly increase along with his muscle mass. The perfect time for him to get into exercising with weights specifically (more than just playing as a kid would), fitness quickly became a passion that hasn't stopped since. Never having looked back, health and wellness has been rooted into the fabric of his life for many, many years.
Atlas has been on his fitness journey for the last two decades continually researching, studying, trying, and applying new ways to stay fit and live a healthy life. Through all his experience, he has come to deeply understand that there is no "one way" of staying in shape for anyone, and that goes for different stages of Life as well as when goals change from time to time.
For every one of us, the How and Why are going to be different. Depending on your goals, age, experience, previous injuries, and desires, the modalities and intensities of a fitness program will vary from person to person. The focus of and main goal for Atlas Stout is to get anyone who has the ambition moving in the direction of a more fit lifestyle, regardless of HOW a person likes to and chooses to go about it.
There are things we all need to live a fit, healthy, and hopefully happy life. Things like love, having as able a body as possible, good living conditions, mental health, hobbies, and passions are all greatly important to every one of us. For each of us, how all of those things look can be and are very different. Atlas Stout does not care one way or another what those things look like to you, so long as you're getting what you need to continue growing and being a satisfied human being. That outlook transfers to fitness, meaning no matter how you choose to live a healthy life is fine as long as you are DOING THE WORK!
Though working with Atlas can be a temporary thing, the overall goal is to have a greater impact than only during the time working together. Atlas Stout's goal is to provide content, motivation, knowledge, and ideas to anyone who is taking the path of health. Continually adding to the well, Atlas is aiming to be a continual guide for those bettering themselves. Fitness and health are a lifelong and ever-changing journey, not meant to be blocked off for only certain times and areas of life.
